Sharing numbers that stay current

I export the saved search to Excel and it's stale by the meeting.

For finance managers and FP&A who rebuild the numbers before the weekly meeting.

Rebuilt every week, out of date before anyone reads it.

  • You export the saved search, paste it into last week's workbook, fix the broken formulas, and send it. Then an invoice posts. The meeting starts by deciding which version is right; the question asked in the room gets answered by email, after the decision.

"Is there a way to make a refreshable excel report with a saved search? Is this only possible through paid services?"

One page in NetSuite with the figures your meeting uses.

SeamSet starts from what your account already has: your saved searches and reports. Native first, with pragmatism. If a native feature covers the need, SeamSet sets it up (a saved search, a workflow, an approval rule), through your NetSuite admin's approval, and writes no code. If the native route would cost more to set up and run than the need is worth, SeamSet says so and proposes the lighter option. Account features stay your admin's switch.

  • Your saved searches, not copies. Where one gives the figure, the page uses it, so both match.
  • Current, with the time shown, so everyone reads the same number.
  • Every number opens to its transactions, so questions are answered in the meeting.
  • By period, subsidiary or department.
Example page inside a NetSuite account, fictional company and data: "Weekly finance review" for Kestrel Outdoor Group, read at 09:42, with filters for period (Sep 2026), subsidiary and department. Open receivables by age: $1,284,600 (Current $642,300, 1 to 30 days $318,900, 31 to 60 days $164,200, 61 to 90 days $97,400, Over 90 days $61,800). Cash collected this week: $412,750 (Mon $138,400, Tue $96,250, Wed $151,900, Thu $26,200). Orders booked this month by subsidiary: $2,036,500 (US $1,142,000, UK $486,300, Canada $408,200). Each figure comes from one of the account's saved searches, marked native. The page and its click-through are marked as what SeamSet adds. The 61 to 90 days figure is clicked open to its 5 invoices, which add up to $97,400: INV-20417, Calder Freight Co., due 3 Jul, 83 days overdue, $31,250; INV-20452, Opaline Dental Supply, due 8 Jul, 78 days overdue, $24,800; INV-20488, Marlow Street Interiors, due 14 Jul, 72 days overdue, $18,650; INV-20511, Tessaly Labs, due 19 Jul, 67 days overdue, $13,900; INV-20530, Ridgeway Farm Supply, due 22 Jul, 64 days overdue, $8,800.

Inside your NetSuite account

On your NetSuite home dashboard or in the NetSuite menu, opened with the logins your team already has.

No NetSuite login? NetSuite can email the saved search on a schedule, current only when sent.

Read-only. It never changes a transaction, customer or account.

Reads

invoices, payments, credit memos, journal entries and sales orders, with their accounts, periods, subsidiaries and customers.

Who sees it

the people your admin gives access to.

Access

your admin connects SeamSet and decides what it can access.

Added to your account

the page and any saved searches it needs, all listed for your admin before approval.

A first version in minutes. Live once your admin approves.

Describe the page in plain words. Every change is tested before it goes live. The log records who asked, who approved, what changed and when. Before each of NetSuite's two major releases a year, your admin requests a release preview account. SeamSet reruns its checks there and tells your admin what needs attention. Fixes go through the same approval.

Bring the report you rebuild every week.

Tell us which report it is, where its numbers come from and who reads it. We'll talk it through.
